A 15 week old brown spotted Bengal boy, "Sunshimmer Travis" was taken from his breeders in the Manchester area, UK on Wednesday night (10-08-11).
The man posed as a genuine customer & said what seemed like all the right things but it was only after he'd gone they realised he had paid with counterfeit £20 notes & the next morning they also realised he had taken their mobile phone.

He gave a false name, address & phone number & parked further down the road with the excuse that he'd gone to the wrong house first & walked back. The address does exist but he doesn't live there. The man spoke with a Welsh accent.

Police have been informed & Travis is microchipped.

If anyone sees this boy in any ads please contact his breeders Sheila & Keith Bradburn of Sunshimmer Bengals...they are totally distraught & just want their boy back, not knowing where he is or if he's been sold on is awful.

There is a Facebook page if anyone would like to join & help spread awareness, search for **Stolen Bengal Kitten** Also if people could just take a moment to look at his pictures...he's quite a distinctive looking boy & you may just recognise him if you see him advertised anywhere.

Breeders be on your guard, check notes & maybe even ask to see photo ID & something with an address on. Get number plate details where possible. Another suggestion is to take a photo of each new owner with their baby "for the family album".
None of this can hurt & may well help to weed out the dodgy buyers.
I really hope this doesn't happen to anyone else & I really feel for Sheila & Keith.

How awful there are some real people out there, I do hope he is found safe and well I am going to crosspost this on purrs forum if thats ok
