| We have one of the dome fountains from Cat IT. Both cats love it, and it's very quiet. |

I have had a catit and it broke as Wilts has limescale in the water, i have replaced it with a drinkwell platinum and i am using bottled water, the kits are drinking more than ever and it is so easy to clean compared to the catit. _________________

I have the Drinkwell Platinum, too. It's been running non-stop for almost two years now and no problems so far. Very easy to clean (comes apart and everything except for the pump can go into the dishwasher) and the cats like it. Binky won't go near it, of course, but Katie won't drink anywhere else. It has even attracted the local wildlife.

I'm trying to resist giving in and getting them a fountain... They drink ok from the bowl (I have to refill it every 2 days and it holds 2 cups of water). But they do tend to jump into the bathtub/sink when I shut off the water and lick around the drain. They've recently started licking up the condensation on the windows too!! I think I might loose this battle and give in to getting them a fountain for Christmas. This thread has been good to consider brands of ones to buy- thanks _________________

I and my 2 kits adore the fountain - the drinkwell holds nearly 4 litres of water and i refill the container at the back which holds nearly 2 litres every 3-4 days, thats a huge amount of water htey get through. But it shows, they are more active and bright eyed now anf their coats are soooooooooooo soft, - wouldn't be without it! _________________
