Tia currently eats pets at home supermeat pate twice a day and has biscuits constantly available, pets at home kitten complete mixed with Purely kittified chicken complete (40% chicken). Also once a week she as the Purely pouches. Which are 50% fish or meat and I guess really yummy, as she wolfs these down.

I've also given her a bit of raw chicken breast when i've been prepairing a meal, and she loved it.

I used to feed my 2 HiLife kitten but it used to upset their stomach sometimes so I switched them to the adult version and they're much better on that (nice solid poos!). They love the fish selection box the most. It's a bit of a pain though as I have to go to Sainsburys to get it!

They are now also fed Orijen dry as I purchased a large bag with a discount at a show.

When we got Pepper the breeder told us she was eating raw mince and chicken necks, so we started her off on those. She loves the mince (pretty much any kitty mince but especially kangaroo - do they have that overseas or is it an Australian thing?) but has gone off the chicken necks.

She wasn't eating dry food at all - no matter what we tried - until she had her little vacation at Summer's mums house when we found that she loves the Friskies (cheap supermarket brand) that their Norwegian Forest Cat was eating! So now we feed her some of those too.

Her favorite thing though is her kitty milk - she just loves it! Do any of your cats drink milk? We limit it as per the cartons advice (50-100mls a day) but if she had the chance she'd drink a litre a day I am sure :-S

Thanks for all the replies to my post.

I have now received my taster packs from food4cats.... So far I have only given them the chicken variety... Although they didn't wolf it down like they do with commercial foods, they did eat some of it, which is progress from my last attempt to offer them raw... So I am cautiously optimistic.....

Hi Hi Very Happy

What I feed my 1.5 year old Bengal boy and 11months old Aby are..

Wellness Core Canned chicken Turkey variety
Ziwipeak Lamb and venison
Weruva Marbella Paella and very rarely paw licking chicken.
Those are our staple.
I sometimes buy Innova Evo canned, avoderm, NV but they dont like them much (They do love Innova evo dry.)

Dry we give them sparingly probably once or twice a month since Maumau our bengal boy has very sensitive digestive system.
Innova evo, Wellness weight control, taste of the wild.

Treats
raw chicken gizzards and hearts.
Steamed cat fish or cod.
Cooked prawns
roasted turkey breast

Our Aby loves raw, but Maumau doesn't care for raw at all... I guess he is an aristcat. :/

I feed Blue Buffalo dry kibble. I am currently switching Ed & Boomer off of their previous food (Kirkland Premium) as I feel Blue is a much better product.

Do you mix this together? I have tried the food4cats rabbit but they didn't really like it. They like whiskers wet food (after trying just about everything its seems the smellier it is the more they like it) but I would like to get them a least partially on raw or certainly something better than Whiskers.

Bozita made them sick and the only other wet food they will have is Felix
They don't like cooked chicken.

I mix the Bozita and raw at each meal. The Orijen is down in separate bowls. Different cats have different preferences though so what works for mine, might not work for others. Have you tried Hi-Life - that's 60% meat which is probably better than Felix but at the end of the day you have to go with what they'll eat and doesn't cause any problems.

Yes I did they wouldn't eat that either. I am also giving them Hills ID dry at the moment, which is down all the time. We started on that when they all had the giardia and they seem to like it and it does seem to settle their stomachs, (and reduce the fecal smell significantly) so I've stuck with it.

The Hills is a decent quality dry food so to me, if you've found a regime that suits them, then stick with it. There may be slightly better quality foods around but it's not like you're feeding them on doughnuts or something Laughing

At the risk of getting a looonnnggg lecture as I have had before on forums I feed 9 Lives canned twice a day and Purina Indoor Cat Chow is left out for them to eat as they want. For treats I feed Whiskas Temptations Chicken because they are the ONLY ones Sakura will eat.. usually reserved for rattling and calling.. kittiiieeeesss.. sakkiiii tweaattsss.. and they all come storming from wherever they are NOT supposed to be.

Thanks Ginny, thats probably what I'll do for now at least. Maybe in a bit I'll try sneaking in some raw and see what happens.
