Following on from the thread about spoiling your bengals - look what we bought today, and we don't even have them yet!!

We also bought them a radio controlled mouse, which is rather cool. It moves in a swirling motion and I think they are going to love it.

What weird and wonderful toys do you have for you Cat??

I bought one for my cats, and they LOVE it! I do recommend not letting it run if you're not there to supervise, however...

There definately are some mad inventions out there for kittys.

Been having a look at the panic mouse Looks hilarious.... this site has some videos, looks like some of them may be Bengals too :-

They are cheap there too if you're in the UK, only ?14.95 which seems good!

They ARE hilarious!!! Especially if you have more than one cat trying to go after it and they keep running into one another. :rolleyes:

I don't like how they try to market it as a toy you can keep running while you're gone to keep kitty occupied though... I've had my cat's nails get stuck to it and they'd freak out, and they VERY often knock the entire thing over and I have to right it. It's definately a toy that requires you to keep an eye on them.

Looks like the Garfield one is slightly better than the standard Panic Mouse as it goes in 360 degrees (as does the Panic Mouse 360), the only place that sells them ones over here look to be expensive though, so we may go for a normal one - can't imagine it staying upright for long with 2 Bengals going at it

I would definately agree with you there, I don't think I'd trust anything mechanical to be left alone with a kitty, no matter how safe the manufacturers state it is.

It definate looks like it would give them hours of supervised fun though.

This kittens are gonna have so many toys, they will not know which one to play with

Watch your cat's favorite toys end up being the parts you take off of milk caps, twist ties, or some other incredibly cheap throw off object you didn't have to pay a cent for.... and they'll ignore the expensive toys.





I bet they do it on purpose too. :ph34r:

That definately is true. My dads cat siskin, would have hours of amusement by just a wrapper dropped on the floor. :blink:

...and god forbid your cat learns to fetch. Mine is forever bringing me some random thing she found on the floor for me to throw for her. Thank GOD I have patience...

My dad's cat siskin, seems to think it is funny to play fetch with little field mice and birds. She is forever bringing them to the back door. Trouble is, even though my dad is 6foot tall he is terrified of rodents hehe.

We tried putting a bell on Siskin, but it does not work, she still manages to catch them. I got a few off of her before and let them go unharmed, as she tends to just play with them for a while, letting them go and recatching them. Poor little things.

Oh a buy the way, we have order a Panic Mouse for our Bengals hehe.

LOL!! When I brought home my big new, expensive kitty tree the "furkids" decided to play in the empty box for about three hours! They didn't even look at the tree until I got rid of the box out of frustration! They love the tree now, though.

Mine like paper... finding receipts and stuff that fall out of my purse and carrying them around like a prize... they play "tug of war" when you try to get them back.

One question, who wins in the end, you or the bengal. hehe

I'm pretty sure they'd beat me out of sheer bengalness if they weren't so distractable. I just reach under the table and recover one of a plethora of fur mice or jingle balls (always, always under the tables, they can't stand to not lose them) and toss it across the room. When four spotted things stampede the other way I usually get it back...

But it's fun. My favorite is the "ohmygosh, what's in the couch cushions?!?!?!" game, where they dart their paws in between the cushions for an hour or so, looking for____?

It's great to trip them up sometimes and put a feather toy in the couch... but I just like to see the suprised looks on their faces......
