Hestia has got a little ulcer on her lip - is this normal? How long should we leave it before we should get it checked?

Mmm? never seen that on a cat before, I?d be inclined to let it heal itself (unless it?s effecting her eating) If it shows no signs of improvement within the next 2-3 days then consider taking her into the vets. If she gets any more then definitely take her in. Could she be run down? or Teething? If you are worried then give the vet a call and see what they suggest.

We?re taking Evvie to the vets today, she gone right off her food the past two weeks and has lost weight. We have noticed that her gums are red so we think it might just be because she?s teething but then she has been sick a couple of times as well. I know it?s pretty normal for cats to be sick but the weight loss is worrying. We have wormed her so we don?t think it?s that. She could be coming into her 1st season (8 months old) but we just don?t know! Tally seams to be Fine!

Cats?.There just as bad as kids!

Quick update on the ulcer, it has now gone, took probably a month or so, but there's no sign of it now, which is good news
