Hi Everyone
Thought I would finally get round to giving you an update on Jasper. Well we've had him for 5 weeks and in that time he has grown so much, he is now nearly 6 months old. When I took him to the vets yesterday for his second leukeamia jab I got him weighed, what a shock, 4.05kg, heavy as Milly my 4 year old snow bengal. I am hoping he will get neutered towards the end of November. The vet here in Cyprus likes to neuter about 7 months, something to do with their urinary tract.
Jasper has settled in really well. He purrs a lot and loves to cuddle up next to you on the sofa. He is a good boy at night, preferring to sleep downstairs, I think because the girls won't let him sleep in our room with them. He only comes upstairs in the morning when he knows someone is awake.
Rosy now likes him accept for when Jasper pounces on her, which is pretty much all the time, but he loves talking to her. Milly on the other hand still has anger issues with him. She likes to play chase with him but will still growl and hiss at him the rest of the time and will go to attack him, although not with claws out.
Jasper is super greedy and will try and eat the girls food if given the chance. We do feed him Royal Canin Kitten wet and dry food but he so loves the girls Royal Canin Vitality. We do our upmost to feed the girls seperately from Jasper. He also likes to have a nosey in the fridge when the door is open.
His favourite past time, apart from attacking feet and hair, is the drinking fountain. If it's not switched on he removes the lid from the filter and carries it around in his mouth. He has been known to steal my daughter's toys and place them in the fountain, even taking a coat hanger there the other day.
I just ordered the Da Bird seeing as you all rave on about it, so looking forward to receiving that.
I am training Jasper on the harness, thanks to Maria for the wonderful leopard print walking jacket. He's slowly getting there, he's just too lazy, walking a few paces then flopping down, hopefully he will get there eventually.
Below is a recent picture of Jasper in the ironing basket, thankfully not yet ironed.
Bye for now
