We finally picked them up from the vet yesterday and I am love with my new babies already. We haven't solidified names yet, but we are thinking Houdini for the boy because he hides so well (we finally found him in the leg of the pool table after a few hours of searching) and maybe Grace or Elly for the girl because she's so graceful and elegant.

Anyway, I haven't been able to get pics of the boy yet because he's very shy, but will soon, but here are some pics of the girl. I do not know if she is a Bengal, or a mix (moggie?) But she is one of the largest female cats I have ever seen, even large than my Main Coon.

I have to say, they are in somewhat poor shape. The boy is very skinny and skittish (but his leg seems to be healing relatively well considering the amount of bone they had to remove). And her fur is in poor condition. It is very dry and brittle and is shedding very very heavily. I am hoping that some TLC will improve that.

What do you think?

Here are pictures of him now. He is so skittish, is terrified when you walk around, but is so happy to come out for a scratch when you sit down. I sat down with a book to read for a while until he was comfortable to come out and explore. You can see where he had his hip surgery and he is incredibly skinny - and a finicky eater to boot.

So, do you think he might be a bengal?Either way, I think he is one handsome fella and I can't wait until they settle in and their true personalities come out.

But, he is quite a jumper, and he seems like he's going to be a talkative guy (he can have conversations with Milamber, my Main Coon), and boy can he stalk!

Now we just need a name for them!! We just can't agree...

We've finally decided on names for them! We decided on KiKi for the girl, and Spooky for the boy because he disappears like a ghost and he's a bit of a scaredy cat.

I think all cats are scaredy cats, I find they set each other off (we have 5 cats) something will spook one then within seconds they've all hidden

Great names by the way

They certainly look very bengal-like to me - i can see a glitter like sheen to Kiki's fur and Spooky has the most gorgeous spots. They've also both got the cream circles around their eyes, large ears, broad nose and the typical bengal toes. There's something about bengal feet that makes me go all gooey!

I'm sure they'll be fine, whether they are bengal or not, it looks like they've gone to a very good home - which is exactly what they need. A bit of solidarity and they should settle pretty quickly. They're gorgeous! x
