Hello from Saint Louis Missouri (USA)!!

My name is Cheryl, I guess I never formally introduced my self. I am pretty new to Bengal ownership. I got my boys on December 20th 2008. My little Christmas babies!
I had been doing research for months on Savannahs and Bengals… more for future reference. I was taking care of my father whom had a strong dislike for cats. So I figured it would be best to wait. He was thinking about moving into his own senior apartment. However I lost my father suddenly in November. I found that my home was pretty quiet and somewhat depressing with him gone. I was so accustomed to taking care of him; his care consumed much of my time, as well as my husbands. I still miss him so much. I actually loved taking care of him, it was that business that kept me going.
At this point I decided I needed some activity and fun in my house, (not that my husband isn’t fabulous) and that is when I decided to get my Bengals. I researched breeders all over the place until I found WildIsle Bengals. The breeder was so friendly and responded to my VARIOUS questions and concerns. I was going to get a retired adult, just one. When I got there I fell in love with my Kitten Bentley, and also learned of his 10 month old half brother Jackpot. I knew I had to have them as part of my family!
From the day I brought them home they’ve had me smiling and laughing! Bentley is the little daredevil while Jackpot is the gentle, agile, lover. They love to play and roughhouse with one another. I love to see them snuggling and sleeping together. They have each picked one of us to really take too. Jackpot is my baby! He loves his belly rubs! Bentley has taken more to my husband, but defiantly loves me too… My husband LOVES them both to death too, it has just been such a perfect fit!
They have been such an encouragement and joy to be around! I cannot imagine not having them as part of my family.

Come to think of it it would be so nice to hear other peoples stories too & i have never sctually wrote mine about how i came to be besotted with bengals. Maybe another day

i'm so sorry you lost your dad, must have been a very difficult time. what better way to bring a little light back into your life than some bengal love!

We are going to Branson Missouri, to a church couples retreat. It's going to be lots of fun! It's a big tourist area, with lots to do. Just nice to get away from home and work!

aww hope you enjoy yourselves, & don't worry about the cats too much!

I'll try not to worry! They are just like my babies... and I cannot imagine them alone for that long!

I'm Gemma from London England. I get to collect my little boy on Sunday 22nd Feb.

Can't wait! He's currently called Sinbad, but i'm gonna rename him Tsega (pro SAY-gar like the console). It means gift from God.

I love the pics of your babies! Like you i've had a bad year, loosing my job, my partner nearly dying, then in Jan miscarrying my baby.

Feel the same.. Really need something to love.
