Since Perkin hasn't had any real health problems, and my girls keep trying to get in, I finally decided to let them meet last night.

I am happy to say that things have been going very well!

My big tortie has been playing with him... she'll swat, but playfully. It is obvious that she is trying to gentle about it.

I was really worried about how my little grey would react, but wow! She WILL hiss if he gets too close, but isn't trying to attack him. She also swatted, but without any real force at all. I'm proud of her. :)

I also let Perkin have the run of my home last night, and woke up with him asleep beside me. Aw! I need to be careful if he wants to sleep in the bed though... he is still small enough that it might hurt him if he was rolled over on. He spent most of the night before we fell asleep in the bedroom cat tree that Yuki adored. Amazing that Yuki filled the top up completely, and P can stretch out with lots of room to spare!

In all, things seem to be going really smoothly. My tortie is currently laying down giving herself a bath on the floor in here, and Perkin is laying close by just watching her. I think he is incredibly happy to have some feline company. :)

Aww, that's great news that the little fellow is getting on so well with the other kitties. Any day soon he'll take over and be in charge

Perkin is pretty brave. He's gotten to where he really likes Sasami, so he'll run up to her all poofy and try to get her to play. This includes him running up to pat her, then running away.

I'm amazed that she is being so tolerant of him! She mostly gives a warning growl, or give him a gentle swat.

If only she were that nice to my tortie. :P
