It was my birthday on the 17th, and I got a smashing new digital camera. So I thought it was only right to put it to good use on Zeus and Hestia.

They are almost 5 months old now. Here are the pics I took today:

My favorite was the one of Zeus that you claimed was too dark -- but what a WONDERFUL effect!
I know you're enjoying them all the time.

I've been so busy with my kittens, I haven't taken nearly as many photos as I should... with 9 cats, indoors -- it's a pretty hectic schedule -- just keeping UP

Superb photos.....and happy birthday!

The darker photo gives great effect.....I've tried to fiddle a bit with it using PP8(paintshop pro) to make it a bit sharper and lighter.....But no luck.....it must of been a very low light level when you shot it.

Most people do tweak their pictures up a bit with a editing program, I find it really useful for removing red-eye which is a big problem when photgraphing cats .....It kinda feels like cheating but it makes a good picture even better.....everyones a winner

Photographing cats is an art form.....we've got quite a few blurred ones in our collection

p.s what camera have you got?

It's a Nikon Coolpix 5700, wasn't cheap, I should know, I paid for it

Your right about Hestia going into overdrive after this picture.

I just always know, when one of them has this look on them, there about to have one of their mad half hours and boy do they.
