I would definitely take him to the vets and get that checked, just to be on the safe side.

Your kitten needs to see your vet pronto. From the pictures it looks as if he is full of liquids. I hope it is not Wet FIP. Your vet should extract liquid from his swollen sides. With Wet FIP, it is usually sticky and straw coloured.

Get him in urgently.

Thanks all. I'm working nights at the moment so it's difficult. He always did dominate the dinner proceedings and had a bit of a belly before, but it just seems to have bloated...otherwise he seems ok.

Going to ring the Vet tomorrow for advice I think and go on Friday...

I have to agree that Max should see your vet ASAP. I understand that it is difficult for you with work commitments but looking at the photos of Max's tummy, he really should be seen urgently.
