my advice would be to really think about what you are taking on & whether you have the time to give them when you get home. they will want to interact with you the second you walk in the door & they have a LOT of energy

having 2 will be good as they have each other for company but bengals really do like to socialise with their people much more than the average cat.

weigh up all the pros & cons, have a read through some of the posts here, especially in the behaviour section, & hopefully it will help you make the right decision for you.

Sorry to hear your previous Bengal owning didn't go to plan.

With taking the two brothers on together, i would say you would be fine to leave them all day as they will have each other for company.

It's when you have a lonesome cat that they tend to play up, out of sheer boredom. Boredom then often leads to destruction.

Just be sure to give your potential new cats plenty of safe toys to play with whilst you're out, such as large cardboard boxes, a few cat trees etc, and them give them lots of fuss and attention when you get home.

Many people have to work full-time, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't enjoy having a couple of pets around for when you are home.

I think that my main concern is that when I get home I make dinner and then go back to work on the computer. I am more than happy to put toys in my computer room and right beside my desk and play with them until the small hours.

My main concern is that when I go to be at 02:00 ish are they going to act up all night? I don't want to make another mistake and make them unhappy.

In short when I get home I'll be there for them, I could even cage part of the garden off if necessary.

I also take it that ornaments etc are dust with these fellows, is that right? What are they like with electronics as far as wires etc? LOL oh god.

If it is a must that you have to have these because of the love of the breed and just the love of cats, i would highly recommend two. We got two, they are now 5 months old and are brilliant with each other, we dont allow them in the bedroom at night (we need our sleep) which they are fine with because they arent used to it. They sleep alot at night, and you could do what most of us have done if you live in a house with a garden, we have built enclosures, our two jump out the kitchen window and get fresh air with climbing trees, i have put toys in there two, its only small but gives them something thats theirs. they dont howl or cry during the night so we arent disturbed, if i get up in the night, i tend to find them asleep, you need two cats for company for each other they will use up all their energy on each other, and wont destroy our furniture in the meantime.

As for your comp...you can forget that..lol i constantly have Mitzy on my kb. A tip could be you could feed them the same time you need to use your comp, dont forget they will want lots of cuddles and playtime with you.

As much as i hate to say it I dont think it would be a good idea to have them and leave them to much. I know they have each other for company but as previously said they love human contact. Also you would miss out a lot on their antics, etc.
i am by no means experienced as i have only just had my first bengal last week. (Ahh bless him a little boy called Solomon) but already he wants my company all the time. I have 4 moggies and they are totally different to the Bengal.

It is with a sad heart that I have declined these two. This month I have to go to Hamburg, Paris and Almaty, each trip will be at least 3 days.

I will stay as a member as I really would love a Bengal but onl when I can give it the time it deserves.
