Hi everyone! I'm new and I don't actually have my bengal yet, but I pick him up in just two days! I AM SO EXCITED!!! Anyway, I have been told that Bengals can do 'dog like tricks'. Things like, 'sit' and 'roll over'. Is this true? If it is, does anyone have any advice on how to train them to do these things?

Let me know if I have things completely wrong and they don't do this at all

Olly can sit and play fetch. He will only sit if I have a treat in hand and will only fetch if he wants to. I can't really give you any hints on how to go about it as he did it all on his own. The sit he learned from watching the dogs do it to get treats. The fetch was all on his own.

Most of the time he will do what I say when when I snap my fingers and point like my dogs do. Like if I want him to get down from somewhere all I have to do is snap and point down.

Hello and welcome

Our little Belle will happily play fetch for hours with her bell on a piece of red ribbon (from a Lindt easter bunny!). Mungo hasn't quite caught on to the retrieving bit yet. He fetches and then tries to eat it.

They both know that when they're told to go to their tray that it's food time and if anybody gets in the way then they get trampled on. They run there and sit and wait while I put the food into their bowl.

goblin will stand back on his back feet, and follow on command (most of the time)

i found the book "train your cat in 10 minutes" to be really helpful. it also focuses on making it "fun" for the cat. when goblin sees me get the clicker out he goes absolutely mad knowing that treats are forthcoming!
