do you have them eating raw chicken necks or chicken wings? Crunching the small, raw bones helps to clean their teeth and thus reduce the bad breath. Sure, it's not minty fresh, but it's not offensive either!! =)

I find chicken necks to be the best. A lot of cats want instant gratification, so it's good to have the yummy raw chicken *right there*, rather than have to get through the skin on a chicken wing to find it. Linden won't even sink her teeth into a wing to figure out that it's just as crunchy and tasty as a neck!!

For our boys (who won't touch chicken necks or wings), we have dental biscuits. They're full of fat, so they can't eat too many, but they're larger sized and designed to make the cats chew and clean the teeth in the process.
