Update on Larry. Sorry haven’t been on the site for a while. We took Larry to another vet for a second opinion, we got blood work done. The vet was sad to inform us that Larry had lymphoma.
We were very surprised as our vet was sure Larry had allergies. I’m so beside myself knowing there was nothing I could do to get him better. I feel good knowing that I did provide a supportive family for him in his last year... I do have comfort in that. But I am sad that such a wonderful cat had to go through that. We sadly had to put him down as he was very sick by the end. He was so amazing and accepting with my kids. He was so patient and caring and made people he came into contact with feel special. That was his gift. He was so amazing. I have never had to put an animal down before. It hurts so bad letting him go :( I wish I could have done more for him. He deserves the best. I’m sorry for rambling, I am just so sad over this. He was a great companion and was always there for me. Always wanted to be where we were. He will never be forgotten. I love you Larry

Oh geez. what terrible news, I'm so sorry. You tried very hard to give him a second chance, and you should feel good about what you accomplished on his behalf. He was loved in the end.

I think I'm going to go hug my cats now, and they're not going to know why. Hopefully, when the time is right, you'll open up your heart to another cat in need, in the memory of Larry.

Thanks for the good wishes. Larry also had friends ( you guys) he didn’t know we’re supporting him as well. We appreciate all the love. This has not been easy...he is very missed :(

I am very sorry for your loss.. He sounds like a very wonderful and special cat. I also lost my eldest Bengal in June to lymphoma and know how terrible you are feeling right now.. :(
