Hi 1 year ago we adopted a little female snow bengal to keep compagny to our 5 years old adult male bengal , sadly my male badly reacted and got really sick few weeks after we got the baby cat was home . 1 year later the both are Unseperables the breeder we got our first cat retired so we had to buy the little girl from a different breeder wich I would say was not as much caring for his cat than our first breeder was . However we saw both parents of the kitten and everythin seemed right so we baught it. We noticed the kitten was pretty small when we got it and was quite a slow grower . She eats well , her poops are clean and normal and she is playful and energetic . Vets checked her and shes alright . After one year she weights only 5.5 pounds and has not has her heats or periods yet. She was spotted when we got her young and she still seems to have fuzzy coat and the spots in her coat are still pretty faded. Should be worried? thanks

She is stunning! I don't believe you should be overly concerned as long as your vet states she is healthy. Just as children are different sizes, so are pets. With cats, it is not that noticeable, but no two cats are alike. Your vet is always the key ... what did the vet say about no heat cycle? Maybe the breeder had her spayed as a kitten? I have an ultra small male at under 11 pounds. He eats like a pig but can't seem to gain weight, plus he is 10 years old with few teeth.

Anyway .... as long as she is eating, playing, sleeping, pooping, peeing just fine -- I would not be freaking out. Enjoy your little gal.

I need to add that bengals usually don't finish growing until they are about 18 months old.

Have not seen vet since few months as we try to avoid vets as much as possible since we almost lost our male from a neglecting/careless vet and a 1500$ bill ... do you think her coating will eventually turns like adults coat ( thinner , glossy with appparent spots) like her dad coat was ? (you see a part of him on the picture at 1 month and a half) her mom was brown spotted and dad was snow

Snows' rosettes do tend to darken over time, but they really remain quite light. She is a gorgeous kitty!!! She is bright-eyed and bushy-tailed (an expression) and she appears healthy in the pictures.

Sche looks fantastic! When I see older pictures of my own Snowbengal, I am astonisched, how light in color he was. He got a lot darker over the years. Also, the structure of their fur is a little different between summer and winter.

She's a sweetie pie! Small Bengal females are quite common, although yours might be towards to the smaller end, could be due to ancestral genes. So 6 lbs for a female is perfectly normal, as long as she is healthy, cherish her! Cuts down on your food maintenance costs too..lol
