Hi Brian, my cats don't care for healthy treats
I tried - and yes I agree, they are crap ingredients but I figured they are treats, they get maybe 10 each a day or less so not sure if people were feeding that as food and had problems or cats were sensitive to them. My friend gave a bowl of them to her daily cat and the cat can eat as much as she likes (and is fine by the way).
My cats also don't like raw food or raw stuff apart from raw chicken meat (breast best, leg meat too but not as much as breast). Also I found when they ate wings, bones and bone marrow would be spread to carpets and they would play with crushed bone - I just don't have the stomach for it.
From what I read online, the issues people raised were that Temptations might be made in China and there could be something seriously harmful in them. The rate of fraud in China is 75% and food fraud is common - with latest being plastic being mixed with rice. Hard to tell as manufacturers often don't know themselves and are being lied to and are not always open to hear when you report it (I reported several garments of clothing which are obviously not cotton but cheaper alternatives such as wood pulp and was just told it is cotton) so just didn't want to poison my cats.
