A cautious yes. I kiss her all over and run my lips over her back and give her tummy some rubs. BTW She adores me and shows is by staying close to me at breakfast and in bedroom but she is very jealous of Jamie and asserts her dominance all the time by laying a reprimanding paw on her neck or back. This is morning she started to bite her. Jamie's a tough little cat but she can't stand up to this. Sad. I thought they were becoming such good girlfriends.

It's pretty similar with mine. But it's also a sign of how important they both feel you are to them. Serafina will go through this big long into thing where she approaches me with purrs, and starts kneeding her paws a few feet from me, then let out little "chrips", then finally approach me and settle in like "ok, you may commence petting, I shall permit it", then close her eyes, and purr more loudly, and rub her cheeks against me and such. But then Neytiri or Gaga will approach, and suddenly Serafina just gets incensed. It's like "HOW DARE YOU!!!" . Very menacing hisses and growls, and if they don't immediately turn tail and back off, she'll leap up towards them and use her front paw and "whack, whack, whack" to the other cat's head until the poor cat just retreats like "ok, ok! Sheesh! My bad!". She's obviously not *really* trying to hurt them, otherwise she'd use claws and teeth and back feet and such, but the message couldn't be more clear.

PS I'm giving them - reluctantly- KD for sensitive stomachs and they do like it. So I'll put that out at night.
