Pixel hasn't figured out doorhandles, likely because we never close doors in the house, but she LOVES tearing the door stoppers off the wall and hiding them places.

Bengals are just the smartest creatures! They are perpetual two-year old toddlers.

Oh my goodness..I am terribly sorry for not sharing or even updating! I promise I will try to do better.

Oh wow. What a beauty. I just cannot get enough of the stunning blue eyes on the snows.

OK so I finally found time to post here :)

We picked up Arya about a week ago. She is is a seal mink snow bengal with rosettes this time (versus Aries who has a marble print). She is also from the same parents so she is literally Aries' baby sister <3

She has been an absolute handful since we picked her up and she shows NO fear for anything no matter how high up she is (she has had a few bad landings but shows no signs of slowing down lol)

I managed to get her still for just enough time to get a picture:

So things have been going ok (i think) for the past week; we did an intro and there was no aggressive body language (no hissing, ears were not folded, tail was normal)

She is VERY energetic and Aries is a very chill and relaxed cat (quite honestly they both may be bengals but Arya is more bengal that Aries). She darts off in random directions and Aries will follow/chase her and then will catch her, lick her, bite her neck and lick her some more. He seems to try to hold her down when she tries to take off. She doesn't scream or anything so I'm not too sure on how to react. We have however kept them separate since she is so much smaller than him and I don't want him to hurt her by accident. We let them be around each other for 10-15 minutes just to make sure they know each other, and she is kept in our bedroom where she is free to roam around. We will also switch them out and give her 30-40 minutes daily to run around freely while Aries complains from the bedroom.

I'm not sure if I should be worried about her getting hurt since Aries is almost 12 lbs heavier than her. Should I just let them sort it out? We wanted to wait a few weeks until she is big enough to smack him back and defend herself to let her roam freely. Bad idea?

Oh wow. Aries looks like a giant compared to her doesn't he. They are both so gorgeous.
It sounds like you're doing the right thing with their introductions. I would just let them do their thing as it doesn't sound like there's any aggression. I can however understand your concern given the size difference.

First of all your Arya is beautiful. I do not know how you cannot fall in love with her. Bengals are like children you should not favor one over another? At any rate, I hope the bonding process goes well and changes your opinion. Bengals can sense a lot of things. She needs just as much love and attention as Aries. I have to question why you would get another bengal if your love was so wrapped around Aries? This is not fair to Arya. Aries and Arya will probably become great buddies. She will continue to grow, although she will not be as large as Aries. For the time being, just monitor them when they are together. It doesn't sound as if anything to aggressive is going on. Aries wants her to know who is boss!

The behavior just sounds normal between an adult cat and a kitten. I fall in love with any cat that allows me to pet it. Unfortunately, that has led to many cats over my lifetime, including two currently!
