She Gets Super Hyper as I'm going to bed!

I know cats are night active, but is there anything i can do to calm her down a little at night?

She's exactly 3 months old today. I play with her for at least 2 hours in the morning and the same again around 7 or 8 pm when her energy starts picking up again. But around 11 she gets insanely hyper and runs around like a crazy cat. What can I do to power her out a little more so I have like an your window to fall asleep. Once I'm asleep it doesn't really matter anymore cause I won't wake up, whatever happens.

Hi

Do you have a flying frenzy/da bird? Half hour before you go to bed, give her a really good work out with that. Make her run and jump after it until she is panting. When she's exhausted give her a bit of supper and hopefully she'll have met her hunt, kill, eat and sleep needs.

I also used to use a laser pointer to wear my two out.

Isn't living with a bengal kitten fun? LOL Every kitty is different and many are more nocturnal. My bengal is the opposite as he will sleep through the night, but he's up all day with the exception of maybe 3 short naps. My moggie is the opposite -- sleeps all day and is rowdy all night long.

Kittens have a ton of energy and the key is to really wear Hedy out before you go to bed. You might also want to give her a snack as many times cats will sleep after eating.

My girl Pearl is hyper like this, I go for the flying frenzy as well.

I normally go to bed around 11ish so at 10.30 we have a game with this and I really make her run and jump high until she pants I then let her have 5 minutes to get her breath back and then we go again, I carry on with this until she won't play any more.

When I do go to bed I make sure if she starts to play up I ignore it no matter how hard it is but it really works.
