He is very socialized with people around, very easy to be distracted with toys if he is in panic.
I tried to leash train him, but he is afraid of outside, unlike my other girl just pick up naturally (dont know if this would tell if he would panic in show)
he would be shown in the alter class, his older brother has won the 4th places, and mom has gave birth to many show quality kittens and actually won prizes.

I honestly don't know the criteria. The judges look at head shape, ears, legs, body, etc. It's not just having a striking pelt. Enter him and see what happens. Just remember there will be other cats around (all in cages) but lots of different smells, plus lots of people and activity! It may only take one show for you to realize that he is not up to the task. But you will never know if you don't find out. There are certain things you have to bring to the show so read up on showing your cat. A well socialized cat that everyone thinks is beautiful is not necessarily show quality. But .... your boy could actually get a championship his first show if he places high enough.

I don't know how often cat shows come around your area, but you can always just leave your baby at home and attend the show yourself and see what all goes on there -- talk with the breeders who are showing. See if you can talk with a judge or two. You can learn a lot just from that experience.
