Thank you all!! I can't wait to see how it turns out, but for now Ima enjoy her being little bc she's already a handful haha. I can only imagine the mess she'll be as a grown cat LOL!

I honestly didn't think she would rosette bc her spots were so prominent as a kitten, but they've opened and changed color a lot since she was a baby!

And she is very shimmery! Her paws and even some on her coat, have a lot of golden glitter. I've always heard of the glitter marking, but to see if is really indescribable!

I'm so happy I have her! She really makes everyday eventful!
She's a little stunner - I wouldn't be surprised to see Gogees in her pedigree.
When those rosettes develop fully, she will be a sight to behold!
Thank you! I'm excited to watch her grow!

Who is Gogee? The ALC? I've seen someone mention that name before I think? Sorry I'm still fairly new to this so I haven't gotten the ancestral stuff quite figured out yet.

It's a little blurry, but I had to cut it down to fit. But this shows her paw and how shimmery they are! Everyone who visits is amazed bc she's so glittery! Some joke around and say I've got a 14K gold cat! LOL!!!

If they only knew

Gogees was one of the 'legacy' breeders in USA, specialising mainly in the spotted and rosetted coat standards. They retired in 2011 but most of their active studs and queens were passed on to other breeders to keep the beauty of their line going, thankfully. If you look at her pedigree you will probably find them appearing in her great-great grandparents or older!

My girl has 'Gogees Centre Stage' in her pedigree, and is very like him. Search under Google for the name Gogees Bengals, and you will see an amazing set of images.

If you do have her full pedigree, consider sharing it with Sherry on here - She is compiling a fantastic database where people will one day be able to identify their cats origin all the way back! She has identified my girl to be an F8 descendent of ALC Kabuki of Millwood! The Millwood line was carried forward by Junglebook, so they are a great name to have in the pedigree as well.. Junglebook Heritage ALC

The genuine legacy / heritage lines should all be traced back to Millwood Bengals, who bred the original ALC cross to create the breed.

You have joined the group of devoted slaves for a fascinating breed of cat, with an incredible history for such a new hybrid! They are stunning, and considering only 30 years ago most were from wild cats, it is amazing they have so readily allowed us the mere humans to become their servants... :sarcastic_hand:

I tried uploading a pic of her pedigree, but it's file is too large to upload. Is there any other way to share it, bc I do have it!

Send a PM to Sherry and she will give you an email address to send it to. She can then add it to her database, and give you some additional information hopefully!
Don't post the pedigree on here as an image - Your breeder might not be very happy if you do that!

As a newbie to owning Bengals, I didn't know that Bengal pedigree lines can be so fascinating, really didn't knew what it was. I thought cats are just cats! But I keep hearing breeders talking about how sacred are their bloodlines which they must guard at all costs etc, thinking that it's just some myth. Thanks for great info! There's so much to learn.

Unfortunately, I think I'm starting to feel like a servant now after, especially after what I just saw on my new kitty's parent's TICA cert:
