My sweet feisty 15 week old little girl, Mercy! ! Just a few updated pics! Idk if anyone is interested, but I love watching her grow! She's full of life and gets along great with my dogs!

Shes normally on the go, but she has times when she's a big ole' lap baby! And she loves sleeping with us!

She's registered as a brown tabby Bengal, but for some reason she looks almost beige/silver, but hey I'm a newbie still, so I'll just go along with what my breeder tells me LOL!

You definitely have a brown spotted tabby! She is gorgeous. I love those eyes.

Thanks for the reply guys! I love learning about her breed and seeing her coat change with every passing week is by far the coolest thing ever! In pics she looks way more golden than beige, but in person she has very light background with pretty dark black spots. She's still a baby, so I'm anxious to see what she'll grow up to look like!

Congrats and she is beautiful. She could potentially belong to the newer breed of Bengals with a pale-golden coat. This brings about a great contrast with the markings which will stand the test of time. In other wards, she'll be admired for life.

The uniqueness of Bengal kittens lies in their coat and pattern transformation from young til adults, unlike other breeds. (I used to admire Russian Blue kitties for their unique smile and bluish double-coat. But after a while, all look almost the same! LOL.)

Major pattern transformation will occur til about 5-6 months, these are their most-prized moments, hence most expensive at this stage, lol (for non-breeding ones of course). Some rosettes will really 'open' up, showing two-tone colours, others might join together forming chains and in some cases, they slowly break free as a pair in a globular fashion which becomes an awesome sight. The next stage will be more of coat colour changes. Whether they will achieve a more rufous tint (some loved it) or remain pale-golden will depend on their pedigree and some elements of luck I guess, lol. So the thrill of owing one is in realizing that you'll never know what you're gonna get, lol.

Interesting thing is, not all Bengals spots will conform to the typical arrow/paw-print/donut/clouded look. Below shows an example of a rosette which has some form of 'cell-splitting' pattern, like two cookie with caramel fillings being pulled apart, lol. When I inquired about him at the breeder looking for my first Bengal kitty, he was unfortunately already reserved! Photo was taken after about 2 mths by he new owner after he was adopted, so about 4 mths +.

There are warm-pelted and cool-pelted bengals. The greater the contrast between the pelt and the rosettes, the more warm-pelted the bengal. My bengal is cool-pelted.

Thanks for all the info guys! I couldn't be more in love with my little Bengal girl! She is very cool toned as far as I've noticed, but either way, they are all beautiful in their own uniqueness! Can't wait to see what the next few months bring! :))

Here's an up close of her coat! She looks very pale, and possibly small rosettes? Some of her spots seem to be opening up?

And a glitter baby too by the looks! Couple of rib bars there, but who cares. She's beautiful. Can't wait to see how her coat develops and watch the rosettes pop.

I love the contrast in her pelt and the rosettes. I chuckled when I read of the rosettes "blooming".

She's a little stunner - I wouldn't be surprised to see Gogees in her pedigree.
When those rosettes develop fully, she will be a sight to behold!
