Hi All,
I'd like to introduce my little fella Bryan. He's currently 6.5 months old and we've had him for 3.5 fabulous months. I've been lurking around here for a month or so now and figured it was time to introduce myself and Bryan.
I have long admired the breed (simply for their stunning looks), but after much research and hands on love from Bryan I understand Bengals are soooo much more than super models!
We also have a domestic short hair little ginger fellow named Max who is 7 months old. The two boys are best of friends (for now) - not looking forward to their teenage punch ups.
I feel like I have so much more to say, as there is a long back story to how I came about having these 2 boys, but don't want to bore any of you to tears.
Here's some photos of the 2 of them, since I know you're all secretly just here for the photos

(ps: here's a shout out to brianj12 for letting me know on my testing post that we had spelt little Bryan's name wrong  )

I've got a few more photos ready to go, but Bryan's all about creating the intrigue and getting you all on the hook
pps: I gave each of these photos titles on PB, but they didn't seem to come through - any tips?
Also - should I make these photos slightly smaller in future or are they ok as they are?

Thanks for having us!

Thanks for your replies. I must admit, it feels a bit lonely here on the forum sometimes since I often seem to be the only member online. I'm guessing that's because I'm in the land downunder and most of you all seem to be in the US or UK.

That's OK though - gives me something to look forward to tomorrow - no instant gratification needed for this Gen X.

Here's a couple more photos.

PS: Sherry - if you're reading this, does your database stretch this far? I'd love to know what generation Bryan is. I'll post a photo of his pedigree if that will help.

Bryan's first show. His delightful breeder Bella asked if I could bring him to a kitten show and I thought I would see how he went. Not bad for his first go. Of course he was the most vocal and put on a bit of a performance, but he wasn't too stressed for his first big outing. I think he was more bored than anything and was pissed off that he was stuck in a cage when he's used to free reign of the house.

From a UK perspective, I often find that you catch up with the posts from our cousins across the pond in the morning.

What a brave boy! I could just imagine my two at a ct show. Blondie would be petrified, and Grace would strut around and chase the other cats away.

What a beautiful boy Bryan is! It is amazing that he is as cool as a cucumber during show time.

I live in Canada...but I am often online very early, as I usually get up at 3 a.m. I read the posts as soon as the coffee is ready, so although I may not always respond here right away, don't feel lonely, Tracey...I am sure there are many others who lurk around....I have been on many times and it says I am the only one....so it happens to me, too....just hug your Bryan

I almost missed this post. What an handsome boy with incredible spot contrasts. I guess his coat belongs to the new-generation breed of golden type of light-yellow coat. Most older generation Bengals coats suffer from having spectacular markings when young, but faded when their coat became dark and 'rofust' reddish brown.

Congrats to Bryan for winning the 3rd Best in Show title! So envious of him..lol. I hope to be able to bring my new kitty participate in shows in the future. While his mom is a light golden type, his dad has a darker rofust coat, so I'm not sure how he will turn out in the future.

Thanks Chris.
Now that you mention it Bryan's coat has darkened a bit over time. He's 9 months old now and I've noticed his background is darker than in these photos.
I remember reading somewhere in the forum that their coats continue to develop and change until they're around 2. Not too much I hope, but he'll always be handsome to me no matter what.
He's so sweet natured too, so that's all that really matters.
