Ok so latest update (sorry had to wait for the Easter weekend):
Seemed a lot brighter for most of the weekend, started going out exploring more again. Was really frightened when going out the front though so something must have spooked him. Was a bit more sleepy Saturday but is growing a bit at the moment.
Sooo FIP test, was positive- I almost burst in to tears! However I think there is a lot of confusion and misinformation surrounding FIP, the vet said 50% of cats have it and 1 in 10 die from it. There is so much confusion around all this, I assume vet means he's got the virus (like most cats) so just be aware if he shows signs... not meaning to stir up the whole FIP debate.
Typical, was booked in for 6 month treatment today following his poorly spell, went out to get him, in the garden already and he's got a puncture wound in his foot and swelling. Driving down the road, found his collar.. out the front so he's obviously not very friendly with one of the neighbours. Vets got him on road to recovery, xray if no improvement in 48 hrs.
Original xray that showed the heart at an angle, vet checked with someone who's very knowledgeable and isn't concerned. It's just 'normal' for him. Specialist still hasn't got back (could be on leave) but will only hear if there is any concern.
Still a cuddly little munchkin, love him to bits!
