Ok so I know they say bengals are more like dogs but I didn't expect this.
Our kitten sleeps on the bed with us and for about 3 days now she licks my face/arm to wake me up she doesn't stop, if I hide my face she will just find a different angle, It's cute but it hurts! Lol
Anyone else's bengals do this or what dog like traits does yours have?

When Quasar was a kitten, he used to lie on my chest and lick my nose in the morning. He actually licked my nose raw, until it bled. I had to put a stop to it. If he started licking my nose, I would cover my face with the bedclothes. Eventually, he stopped trying.
They do have barbs on their tongues so that they can lick the flesh of the bones of their prey.

No, just having a taste, so she knows what her options are if the cat food ever runs out.

Ada used to be very persistent with cleaning my face - If I tried to stop her a paw would come out and be rested on my face so I couldn't move away, like a mother cat saying "this is going to happen". She has eased up now though. Wish I could get her to stop biting the lobe of my ear and padding me for 30 minutes straight.

So adorable though! I love their very gentle nature, the way they touch your face but not with their claws out, never had a cat do that before, they really are unique (:

LOL! I would love to have my bengal lick my face! Alas, he just head butts me and cries to wake me up. The outdoor cat I take care of grabs my hand and will lick it to death! I call them "kitty kisses" and I love them.

I wish. They are both very gentle, but they often have a bit of claw out when touching my face.

That's amazing... what a wonderful way to wake up! Now she saved you time washing your face in the morning ;)

Try to teach her to make you coffee ;)
