Haku is 12 weeks girl, came to me a week ago, and settled to her new home just in three days. I don't know if she's bonded with me, but she never leash train, and she are now able to walk on leash outside for the forth day.
She learned to shake hands in one day (only if she saw me with food).
But....
She doesn't respond to her name
(My other cat, I can tell if they knew I was calling her, and 80% of time she would come to me when I call, but Haku won't even look at me)
And
Just starting today, she bites me, like any part of my body, it's not that hurt but idk if it's norm? She bites like a dog bite on a toy

And I would like to know how to tell if I'm bonded with my Bengal, cause it comes so natural to me and my other cat. It's my first time to be a Bengal mama.

She will never bite my finger or hand, she only bite my arm or like my legs or climb to my shoulder and bite my shoulder...
Or biting my knees if I was sat on the couch and watching TV

First of all, it takes time for a cat to learn her name. My bengal is almost 10 years old and he will ignore me when I call his name -- and it's been his name for nearly 10 years. Still, he will look at me when I call his name, but he won't come to me. Stubborn bengal.

Kittens are always in attack mode. Bengals kittens, especially, have a slew of energy. You need to learn to carry toys with you to distract your baby. You will have scratches and bites. We have all been through this with kittens. Try to use toys for play and not your hands.

It's great she got used to a harness so quickly. Many bengals do. Bengals do bond closely with their owner. Just hang in there when teaching her her name. Eventually, it will kick in.

Mine don't know their names... Since they're almost inseparable and they don't react to treats there never was any chance to get them to know which name belongs to which.. Not that any of us cares...

I'd say it's not too hard to tell whether you're bonded with your bengal, although I wouldn't be able to spell it. My two guys love each other and spend the best part of the day on their own so it's easy for them to bond with each other but they like to be around me and follow me wherever I go, they're happy to come asking for pats, which they'wouldn't do when they were younger. They still hate to be picked up unless it serves their (short-term) interest, like if they're interested in what's happening on the other side of the window which they can't get to on their own. They also quite happy to chat with me about current events happening in the world, even if we don't share the same opinion. In short, I know they love me

Totally agree with Sherry and Thomas. Give Haku time.
Bryan most certainly knows his name, but good luck getting him to come when I call. It definitely took longer than a couple of weeks to recognise I was talking to him - especially since his breeder called him BJ. Cat's do whatever the hell they want anyway
