I'm new to the Bengal world! I currently have an Australian heeler that's 3 y/o, with he heart of a puppy still! I'm just anxiously waiting for my kitten to be old enough to leave her mama, so I'm preparing my home for our new baby.

Check out https://tailspinbengals.com/kittens <<Wonderful cattery and breeder!!
Any advice (nothing in specific) is welcomed!

Here are some pics of my sweet kit and her parents!

What a beautiful F9 little gal. Tailspin has a lot of champion show cats in their cattery. Congratulations

Thank you!! Tailspin has been fantastic to work with! Great trustworthy breeder, who's very devotional to her bengals! I can't wait to finally get my kit and see how her coat turns out in the future! I've found that these kittens are much like little butterflies, they change so much as they get older!

Being new, I have a strange question...

Is an F9 any less of a bengal than an F1,2 or 3? Not that it's a big deal, just trying to learn from more experienced bengal parents.

Welcome, how exciting for you, waiting for your new kitty.

F9 less of a bengal? Heavens no, just the opposite! Just think of it in human terms. When someone says "I'm 9th generation whatever", he's saying he is part of a long legacy of something. Plus I really wouldn't want to have an F1,2 or 3. Too much of a wildcat, not enough of a bengal.

F9 just means your baby is 9 generations removed from the Asian Leopard Cat. Jaro is the ALC for your kitty (shortest link back to an ALC). There are many ALCs in your kitty throughout the generations. I have an F9 bengal as well.

Cool! I know my breeder has a lot of registered bengals with championship bloodlines! She has really got some amazing cats! I can't wait to experience having her home finally! Each week seems to go slower and slower lol!

I know that waiting for a kitten to come home to you is tough, but just enjoy the peace and quiet whilst you can.

Got to visit with my kitten today!! 8 more weeks until she gets to come home!

Hoping this fuzzy stage is only temporary and not permanent ticking, bc her coat colors are beautiful just a little blurry and blended.

Guess I'll just have to be patient and see lol!
