He's back again! After having a good look through the window where Hendrix was going bonkers, he went and lay down on the lawn, seemingly waiting for them to come out. I had to go running out with a water pistol and chase it off. Bearing in mind I'm supposed to be resting my knees right now, I wasn't best pleased!!!

Honestly, Clare! This is ridiculous! Do you not have any wildlife agencies you can call to relocate these creatures? This one almost seems like it wants to come into the house or play with your babies! Scary to think -- will they attack humans? I don't know. I've had one fox come across my backyard in the 23 years I've lived in this house. Poor Hendrix and Jagger. Obviously the advice in the book and all the deterrents are not working!!!!!!!!!

You're not allowed to relocate as its considered cruelty. You're dumping an animal in unknown territory and possibly in another foxes territory and it would as a result perish. I don't wish anything bad to happen to the fox. Plus, if a territory becomes vacant another fox will take over. So pretty pointless.

Making your garden less desirable isn't an overnight process so it's going to take time! I've done a lot of the right things already, but clearly someone feeds this fox when it goes up to their house, so it thinks other people will do the same. It certainly looks well fed!

It doesn't seem aggressive. If anything it seems to want to play and enjoys being chased around the garden :rolleyes:

Well, here we do have wildlife sanctuaries where they could be relocated and cared for in a more captive environment. Sounds to me like you've got another pet! :lol:

Wildlife is wonderful except when they become a nuisance. The raccoons still visit my deck nightly and until I stop feeding the birds all together, they will continue to show up. Thankfully, they nosey around a little bit and leave. I've never had one come to the window and look inside.

That is crazy to see him staring in the door like that! Certainly seems he has very little (if any) fear of humans. :eek:

Christmas 2016 - me and my boys wish everyone here a wonderful New Year!

As ever they were spoilt rotten - but they enjoyed opening their box of goodies and were totally shattered by the end of the day - or maybe it was too much turkey :lol:

Given half a chance, Hendrix would have made off with the whole turkey! He is a horror when there is meat in the oven. He comes running every time he hears the oven door open to see if he's going to get anything and harasses you incessantly until he does finally get something and then nearly takes your hand off in his haste to grab it :rolleyes:

Fortunately Jagger is less bothered - although he did discover he really likes gammon and would hang around for that.

Lol! I had fresh, still warm, turkey breast for Merlin at tea time Boxing Day - normally one of his favourite treats - but he saw I had gammon and turned his nose up! Needless to say, I ended up with boring cold turkey and someone furry got the gammon!

I'm glad they don't salt the gammon joints like they used to years ago - with his ongoing kidney management plan, I have to be careful what I feed him to avoid crystal formation / raised proteins. Lots of wet food, and Royal Canin S/O biscuits. It's a furry money pit!

My 2 will have my hand off for some turkey, but only fresh from a whole bird or crown, if a buy them turkey chunks and cook them it doesn't seem to be the same, they only at it as if to say what's this rubbish we want the real thing.
Luckily I'm cooking another turkey on new years day so they will be happy.

Oh my the fox is at your door looking in!!! That would freak any cat out. We have raccoons running along the outsides of the patios. At least that keeps them away from the actual house. I see my cats on my bedroom floor watching the raccoons running along the back yard in the moonlight. They leave garbage out there when they are finished picking through the trash. They also keep moving the rat bait box around the back yard. I think they are trying to get the bait out and eat it.

Your kitties look very happy. I had the pleasure of spending the past week with my two girls. They are so much fun to be around all day. They do however expect extra treats from me when I am home with them. They eat their food and then come directly to me to see what I am having.

Decided to treat myself to a bit of chocolate last night from the fridge... unbeknown to me, Hendrix was on top of the units and immediately started reaching down to see if he could be a hindrance (his specialised subject!). The only way I could then shut the fridge door was to offer him a treat as well.

Guess this could be good for my New Year diet if he continues skulking up there :lol:
