Tonks! I think you probably guessed from my reply earlier that I adore Tonkinese. Welcome back *waves*. Sorry you had to rehome your boy but I'm sure it was for the best also your little "skin kitten" is also super cute

Hi Lollo, glad you are back. Congrats on the two litters (heh). Looks like Max is determined to make Georgia a bengal lover. Looks like he is representing well!

That's too bad about Toby. I know he was a cherished pet, was he also a stud? Of the current litter?

Brian, Toby was never a stud boy. He was neutered at 5 months. It's funny. Max is a real timid cat. Hates change, spooked easily and gets very stressed. We were worried how he would cope with a baby. He just didn't seem to notice initially. He then got more inquisitive of her and he really likes her. He has knocked her over a few times from over-zealous nudging.

Toby still breaks my heart. I miss him every day but I know he's much happier being an only cat.

Sarah, tonks are my first love. I am biased but I think they're pretty great. I am based in Leicestershire so just by M1. I do know of a few breeders in Kent but don't know them well enough to recommend and I've heard not so good at things about one of them. I am good friends with a few breeders and would always recommend them. Hazel at Tallica Tonkinese owns the studs I usually visit. She is in Cambridgeshire. I have a good friend Tamzin in Cornwall Snowtonks but they might be too far. Tonkinini are fantastic, Allegra is in Suffolk but has just had her own skin kitten so not sure when she'll have kittens. There are others I know of so if there's someone close to you feel free to ask me what they're like. Some are good for certain things. Hazel has lots of kids so her kittens are bomb proof! Allegra has lots of cars and digs plus a baby. So there's always someone that might fit your needs better.

When my friends talk about their babies and kids, I find myself saying, my cat does that too! There are similarities! Thanks for posting photos of your beautiful kitties and baby!

Hey, I'll make a note of all the names as traveling isn't really an issue for the right cat, I'm personally wanting a blue tabby or a chocolate tabby im not as fussy over if it's Tonk, Burmese or Siamese pattern. I travelled up to near Lincoln to get my current two bengals from Junglefire and my original girl was from wales. I've also travelled all the way to Yorkshire for a chihuahua so if it's the right one travelling isn't really an issue although I won't be looking for one for a good year or so anyway I try to stagger the ages of my animals a bit if I can. I am very interested though, I'm hopefully taking my girl for her first TICA show later this year as an alter but it depends on if it's a multi breed show if so I'll pop over and see the Tonks. If not I was gonna got to the Supreme cat show next time it's on just to have a look around as I haven't been in a while.

Not many people show tonks in Tica so you may be out of luck there.

We are showing at the supreme and I know of other tonks there too. It's in 22nd October this year.

My queen Anna is a blue tabby tonk. She had two tabby kittens, a blue and a brown. They were both gorgeous! Snowtonks and Julie singleton in Somerset both breed tabbies. There are two tonk breed clubs. Tonkinese cat club and tonkinese breed club.

Lollo, thank you for creating a post and sharing your beautiful daughter and kittens with us. You look fabulous as well! Have missed so many of the older members who posted regularly. A few of here are trying to help out the newbies with advice. I am sorry to hear about Toby, but sometimes we just have to do what is in the best interest of the cat and not think about ourselves. As long as he's getting settled in and is happy with his new family, you can relax.

You've always posted the cutest pictures of the Tonk kitties!!! Such cute little munchkins. I hope you won't be a stranger -- we've had questions about breeding, but none of us breed! Looking forward to reading more posts from you.

Thanks for being so helpful to Sarah. She is fairly new around here but has given a lot of wonderful advice to all of us.

As long as I can find someone to babysit my 3 terrors (2 kittens and my dog) I'll hopefully be coming to the show usually my mum takes them but I think she's horse racing.

Love the pictures, Lollo!!! You really have your hands full -- still showing kitties and dealing with a young'un and two calling females. I think I would be insane!!!! Please, please, please, don't be stranger! We love hearing from you.
