Robot vacuum cleaners & bengal - anyone got both

So, I was thinking about a robot vacuum cleaner, but I am concerned that my 2 little darlings might not take well to sharing their territory with another pet - does anyone have both a bengal and a robot cleaner ? Do I need to look for one that is bite-proof ?

Yes, I have a Neato robot vacuum cleaner. After some initial circumspection my bengal now ignores it. I'm pretty certain it would be bite-proof. If your bengals don't bite the normal hoover they probably won't bite a robot.

Be aware that some robot vacuums have little side brushes that stick out and whizz around: those might prove irresistible....

Don't some of these robots have timers where you can set them to clean at night? I'd wait and see how the little munchkins deal with it and go from there. If they don't like it, put them in another room while its working. I would think it would make a fun toy for them.

Yes, you can set them to run autonomously at whatever time of day or night suits.

After reading a story on Facebook, , they had a robot cleaner and set it to clean at night, unfortunately their puppy pooped on the rug and it ran over it and spread it all over the house in the middle of the night, their child got up and walked in it and then got in their bed, it took half the night to clean it up and it ruined the cleaner.

I do kinda want one it would help with cleaning around work although I slightly worry that Griffith when he's older might be able to flip it over.

I don't know about the other brands, but the Neato cuts out automatically if it is lifted from the floor.

I would rather clean toilets than run a vacuum cleaner. My house is so chopped up that I doubt any robot cleaner could do a good job! However, it might be a good playmate for Raiden.

Yes, the Neato can manage any floor surface that an ordinary hoover could do.
