They have been an absolute nightmare today! Clambering on top of cupboards I was convinced they could never make, refusing to come down, opening boxes of stuff Im strategically waiting to unpack and then chucking the contents all over the bedroom, drawing blood from my arm in a 'playful' moment....and now aaaaaah! Its not even a good picture but THEY ARE ASLEEP! Wheres the prosecco......

I'm in touch with that emotion! I've already reached for a glass of red tonight as my two have been running rings around me lol

You really shouldn't give them Prosecco - it only makes them worse. :-)

They sure do look tuckered out!!! I don't know what it is with bengals. Mine is calm and collected one evening and the next evening, he's a living terror that I can't control! I don't like wine, but may have to take up drinking it just to deal with it all. LOL

Mine were utter buggers last night but I'm on a mission now to cut down on alcohol completely, not that I'm a heavy drinker, but I'm on a med I'm not supposed to drink with and as my knees haven't recovered from earlier this year, I thought I'd give it a go.

But oh how I wanted a glass of red last night! Hendrix had been looking for trouble, was on top of the hall units, hanging over the edge, stretching as far as he could to see if he knock anything off the shelf below... He couldn't as everything is tucked back out of the reach of their grabby paws. So he was looking around to see what else he could get into. And started to stretch out for the ceiling light and started to pull that towards him.

Jagger decided this looked great fun and jumped up on the same unit to join in but Hendrix didn't like that and it ended in a massive fight on top of the unit. I had to hiss at them to break them up, they both stopped and stared at me so I could get them down.

But it didn't end there as jagger was pretty annoyed at Hendrix and went back to chasing and fighting him, ending in all sorts of snarling, hissing and growling and general unpleasantness. I had to split them up in separate rooms for a cool down. I was in the kitchen with jagger staring at a lovely unopened bottle of red.....

After a week of dealing with foxes literally taking over the garden, all I wanted was a quiet night! Anyway, I have motion detector gadgets coming to foil the foxes that I'm going to put out every night once the boys are in and see if I can make the area less attractive to them!

The joys of Bengal guardianship

Ada wanted to play with the ice cubes in my G&T last night.

Oh so very NO!

Then she thought that toes might well make good toys.

Grrr.

Is this a summertime thing with bengals??? Raiden is totally different when the temps drop. Right now, he is just a monster, going in and out of his enclosure, running all over the place, using his cat wheel constantly, crying, hopping up on his cat tree and jumping back down. It's like he's bouncing off the walls. Hubby and I are trying to unwind after a long day and watch some TV and Raiden makes it almost impossible. I've even tried a third walk 30 minutes before dark and it doesn't help. In the winter time, he's out like a light at 5 p.m.

probably depends on the summer... Mine were very active in winter/spring (it was their first so I have yet to wait to unleash full judgement) but these days they're only somehow active in the morning and that's it. But then, the temperature inside my house (which isnt too small for European conditions) rises within about 2 weeks from 16C to over 30C (or from 60F to 86+F) and stays there - 32 or 90 deg right now and its 10pm. Outside it gets quite worse with the porch and its walls made out of stone/concrete and the sun burning hell out of you. so my guys are only moderately active. Looking to move house currently for one with more airflow and <slightly> lower temperatures.
