So I know Spider is happy, he purrs all day long, but Maasai only ever purrs about once every 2 weeks. It does make me wonder if he is less happy than Spider. Do any of you guys have a bengal that doesnt purr?

Yes, I have two brothers and they are similar to yours. One are purr already when I am near him without touch. An other don't purr neither when I cuddle him...

Raiden purrs most of the time, but it's not a loud purr. I have to literally put my ear on him to hear it. The moggie I take care of has a very loud purr and I can hear it from a distance even! Every kitty is different, I guess.

Yeah, all kitties have different purrs. I wouldn't worry at all.

Ours purr so low that it is hard to hear, but you can feel it if you hold them or when you touch their throats. Echo chirrups when she jumps, though, which is quite cute. She'd be useless in the jungle with that noise though...

Grace purrs like a jackhammer when she comes to cuddle in the middle of the night. Blondie has a very quiet put but I can feel the vibration when I touch her chest. Both of mine chirp when they jump too. When I am in bed, Grace calls to me with mmmmmmm. If I answer her back she jumps up and let's me pet her.
