We want to make our silly girl a running wheel as she is at the age now (18 months) where she is permanently full of beans and we think she would really benefit from it.

My partner is semi professional in the joinery and woodwork business but hasn't attempted something like this before but is confident he can make one if can gather enough info about the mechanisms involved.
Anyone got any tips or can recommend someone else who has done it?
Thanks!

I know I've seen articles/videos online where someone made their own cat wheel. It can be a real adventure in finding the wheel part. Someone used a child's swimming pool. Another used a commercial dryer drum. Still another made it entirely out of wood. Do a google search and I am sure you will find something. Note, the wheel needs to be at least 48" in diameter.

I have found one blog post which is pretty helpful, I was hoping to find more, so if anyone comes across anything else please let me know :-)

I'm not that crafty sadly.

I bought one from Onefastcat.com and love it! Was easy to put together and Archer loves it!!
