I tend to view having a Bengal kitten more like having a puppy than a cat. If there is anything within their reach which includes jumping that they can put in their mouth or chew put it away in a draw or somewhere they can't
accesss. You need go remember that bengals love being up high so putting something up higher won't deter them, Even if she is eating the cat food she will go after other things because she's a kitten and curious. Everything needs to be put away where she can't get at it, Also please make sure you don't have any lilies or certain types of plants out as they are highly toxic.
Please check the lists of items that are toxic to cats just to make sure she hasn't ingested any as you may need to monitor her or at worst rush her to the vet.
What you should probably do is designate her one room that you leave her in unattended where there is nothing that she can get hold of to put in her mouth. She's too young really to have the run of the house unattended unless you want to kitten proof everything.
I would love to say they grow out of this but they kinda don't when it involves food, Mina would still take her chances at 16 with any food left out on the side, it's all about a complete lifestyle change.
Also I agree with Brian about checking her food, does she eat it all? Is it nutritious enough? If she's especially active and she is growing atm maybe she needs more food or something more nutritious. Not all cats like the food the breeders send them with. I'm pretty sure that there must be a thread here with food recommendations.
I will tell you this now bengals are renowned for being very fussy eaters with very delicate tummies and they do always lean towards what I call the "McDonald's" type cat food, the more additives, gravy and poor quality the better
that will get eaten in seconds but my nice nutritious cat food which cost a fortune, she would turn her nose up at it. it used to drive me insane with Mina as we would try her on so many good cat foods and she would only eat whiskas so in the end we also supplemented her with fresh meat so she had something she liked.
Also some bengals love fish others hate it (mine hated it but very rare beef or lamb she loved the more blood the better), but maybe try cooking her some fish or chicken in the mornings as you know she will eat that along with her other foods. If she is actually trying to eat hard things like popcorn and cat litter etc maybe she needs more of a certain vitamin and you can try giving her nutrical paste to help top up the vitamins. They aren't the easiest kitties I tell you, but we all love them so we are happy to be their slaves
