i think it may be a case of worms which would make sense since when we got Gizmo and took him to the vet he had a tape worm. Tape worms come from ingesting fleas and therefore fleas jump from cat to cat and the way forest cleans himself, he would certainly eat one without knowing it. So we are going to take both of them to the vet just to be safe and I should have an update by tomorrow.

a trip to the vets sounds best, just to make sure.

update: the vet didnt find anything wrong, no worms and no infection. it might be a hairball so we will be gradually switching to a hairball prevention food and another possibility could be that because of the humidity making him seem lethargic and lazy. we're just glad he is ok
