Ive been lucky enough to have a few days off recently, so Ive spent pretty much 16 hours a day with the cats. Ive not been able to do this since they were little kittens. Its been so fun to watch them because usually they are quite focussed on me when I get in from work, but because Ive been around so much they have just been getting on with their own lives! The funny thing is, I watch them all the time, but over the last few days I have caught each of them just staring at me randomly while I was busy doing something else. Watching me, just the same as I do to them. Trying to work me out I guess! I just wondered if yours do the same?! I would absolutely love to be able to translate what they are thinking into English!

Oh if kitties could only talk!!! I have one kitty. He does his own thing and only comes to me when he wants something!!! I'm here all day with him, so it's nothing knew. Initially, I was working but I don't think things changed much when I retired except now he gets two walks a day instead of just one.

Blondie stares at me all the time with her big round eyes. I remark at her beauty and she arches her back and her tail wiggles in and out of question mark shapes and dances over to me on her toes. I think she really likes it when I talk to her so she stares at me until I say something. Grace is very different. She watches me but is not so obvious. She lays down on a chair on the other side of the glass door from my living room chair. If I get up and leave the room, she appears next to me inside the house.
