£300 for a cross breed? Are people really willing to pay that much? You can get a pedigree for £500 plus (sometimes less)

I dunno... to me there really is no point to buying a cat from "some guy" advertising random litters of kittens, especially with some vague claims about partial lineages. Either having a cat with a specific lineage and enjoying the cat's breed-specific traits and personalities is what you are trying to achieve, or it is not. And if it is, then going with a legit breeder is really the only way to go, and if it isn't, then you are way better off going to a shelter and having dozens and dozens of cats to choose from. That's how I see it.

There are many bengals in the rescue system needing a home. Some are even pure with papers. If you have some flexibility, you might want to look into it. I rescued my two as kittens and paid $150 each. They were spayed and had all their first year shots. No papers, but they are the most amazing creatures I have ever met.

Father "unknown". Hmm, bad owner for not having their "bengal" spayed! People will probably eat up these kittens. They are adorable. "Breeder" may not get that price for them.

Hi, new forum member, new Bengal owner, been browsing the forum for a while, so much useful info.

Is the mum here actually a Bengal? She has white socks, and what looks like a non-spotty white tummy. A Bengal cross perhaps, or a pretty tabby?

I didn't think the mother looked like a bengal either. Unfortunately, when one reads "bengal," they get interested, especially if they've been wanting a bengal and not wanting to pay full price for one. You get what you pay for.

The mother of these kittens cannot be a bengal, she has white feet, probably just someone chancing their arm hoping someone will fool for it, you can bet all those other kittens haven't been sold it's just a ploy, have seen it all before.

They are definitely mixed breed based on the photos of the mother. The kittens are very cute but the seller is not being honest by calling them bengals.
