.. not just a forum for humans to talk about bengal cats - what topics would your cats be posting ?

This thread came to mind after reading viewtopic.php?f=4&t=23113 and thinking of the OP's bengal opening a thread "Miaow training your humans - is anyone doing it ?"

Ada would be posting a thread asking why humans can't tell the time properly, nor obey commands to feed her when she's fading away from hunger and almost too weak to storm around the house shouting her head off.

Babbage would be asking if any other cats had _ever_ managed to get any milk out of a human because no matter how long he pads, the well seems to be dry.

Mine would undoubtedly be talking about their trip to the vet for their dental cleanings yesterday, and I'd cringe to think about the things they'd have to say about THAT experience and about their mean owner right now. Owch. Sometimes I'm glad they can only meow

I once thought about having Raiden set up and post a blog weekly. Unfortunately, his life isn't very interesting. He went to the vet this week for his annual checkup and shots and, outside of his Grade 2 heart murmur, he is perfect!!! Poor thing got poked and prodded all over the place. A very thorough examination. Tarter is starting to build up on his teeth but not time for a cleaning yet (he just had one last August). Stravyn writes his own blog, but he gets to go everywhere with his owner. https://stravyn.com

If my cats were writing a post, it would be about their food and how to trick their human into giving them more food. Why does the human get different food? There would be hypnosis tricks shared on how to train your human. Questions about where the human goes all day (to the vets?) and why are they periodically taken in for "testing?" What are they looking for? There would be several entries about the human's strange litter box habits and interest in their litter box. They would also discuss how little the human sleeps and question their ability to stay awake during the day. And the human's constant obsession with water and bathing...why don't they just lick themselves clean?

Oh yeah, after they finish their dinner they bop in and out waiting to see what I am having. Blondie usually just stays in the house and watches me fix my dinner. Then I sit down and Grace appears and stands on her hind legs to inspect my food with her claws on the plate edge, eyes ablaze. Blondie hops up next to me and dances around nonchalant and slides onto my lap to inspect the fork going into my mouth. If the food is spicy or not containing meat, fish or anything on their radar, they evaporate instantly and go on the patio to play.

Our human did something really strange a few days ago - does anyone know what it means ?

He had hunted a sirloin steak out of the freezer and defrosted it out of our reach, almost as if he didn't want us to have any. Then, after he had skinned the plastic off it, he gave both of us a bit each. Was he trying to say that we are not good enough at miaowing for biscuits on our own ? and why did we not get any stilton and bacon sauce with our uncooked piece ?

Pearl would be saying, that horrible mummy put me in an awful carry case then took me outside and put into a strange metal object and shut the doors, then there was a loud roaring noise which really frightened me, a while later we went into a building that smelt funny.
I was taken away and put in a cage and they put something sharp into my leg.
Next thing remember is waking up with a sore side and my fur shaved and a cone on my head, I felt so silly I'm sure the other cats were laughing at me, later my mum came and took me home which made me feel better, luckily she took off the cone after a couple of days and I'm on the mend now, apparently so my mum tells me I had an operation to make sure I didn't have any kittens.

Magic would be saying, mum what's this furry bundle you have brought into my nice home and turned my life upside down, I supposed I will get used to her.

Oscar would be asking why his humans talk normally to each other but when they talk to him they do it in a ridiculous and totally unnecessary baby voice!

Why was my human upset this lunchtime ?

My human is obsessed with that light-box toy in our room ( he calls it the office ). I really don't see the point in it as it doesn't even have a built-in bum warmer like the shiny silver one in the living room.


Anyway, he plays with the light box all morning, watching the little cursor thing move around and pawing at the clicky-clacker. When he finished all I did was check to make sure that the chicken in his salad was OK for him to eat - honestly, the noises these humans make when it's feeding time and you are trying your best to keep him safe - animals!

If they truly loved us as they say they do they would want us to have the choicest bits of meat on their plate. We have to share with each other, why can't we all eat off their plate. And while I am at it, why do they eat so slowly? It is torture waiting for them to finish so we can inspect the empty plate. There is some sort of inequality happening here that frustrates me, and drives me to gnaw on the human's possessions so they understand how this upsets me to my core.

I'm sorry, but I can't get into a cat's frame of mind!!! I'll have to let Raiden come up here and type up his own thing. He loves to walk on my keyboard.
