Magic is a little better, Pearl won't keep still or keep her cone on so I've taken it off and just keep an eye on her, the wound is so tiny and no external stitches to pick at so she should be OK.

The cone of shame!!! LOL. I'd just keep it off of her as well. Most cats absolutely hate wearing it.

I am supposed to take Pearl for a check up tomorrow and another in 7 days, as she gets so stressed in the basket and hurt her nose last time we went I am going to ring vets and cancelled tomorrow, I don't see that it's necessary for all these check ups, I will see if I can wait a week.

Magic is still playing up, one minute he is licking her next he is growling and hitting her, tonight she climbed up to the top of the cat tree for a cuddle with him like they used to, he licked her then hit her and she fell off and bounced off the table onto the floor, luckily no harm was done.

I feel guilty that this is happening, everything was fine until the trip to the vets, now it's seems their friendship is gone, I don't know what to do.

It's taken a while for jagger to accept Hendrix again after a vet visit, the vet smell is strong and I imagine it lingers. When my two weren't getting on at all a few months ago, one of the things the behaviourist suggested was to get some feliway spray, spritz my hands and then fuss both of them straight after. Do it two or three times a day and the idea is their scent will be the same.

I have some Feliway spray and a plug in, I never thought to rub it on my hands and then on them, I have been spraying it on their beds etc, thanks I will give this ago especially as we have another vets visit.

Is Feliway safe for a cat to lick off its fur? I don't believe it is made for that purpose, so be careful! Time will heal Pearl and Magic's relationship. The medicinal smell can linger on for days.
