Congrats, looks like a great tree, and that's such a key thing for two bengal kittens. I like the wicker basket perches, never seen anything like that before.

I LOVE wicker!!!! I wish I'd seem something like that for Raiden! Now he has three cat trees and no room for any more! Those babies of yours are simply stunning!!!! Happy they are loving the tree.

The good thing is it's very solid and only the top shelf is supported by one column. All the shelves below are interconnected with various columns (hope it makes sense) and the whole thing is very stable. Their previous tree was much lower, about 140cm (4 ft 7) and as they were often jumping at the top shelf sideways from the table thats nearby, it was going to come apart.

While I like your tree, and can be good for small cats, but our 15lbs. (and growing) kat would knock that over jumping onto it at speed. I would bolt it down on all for corners.

The real issues I have with most all trees I've seen is that they all seem to be built for small cats, and in particular, the perches, and cubby holes are too small for a big cat to be comfortable IMO.

'One size', is not for all. Manufacturers should take that into account.

Jetz have you bought about building your own. Can get the materials relatively cheap and can create your own designs. Far cheaper than a manufactured tree too.

One of my cats is about the size of your larger one. I agree, cat trees are made for small cats or kittens. Grace still wants to play on them and she throws her body into the air landing on the top perch and the whole unit sways to and fro. My heart stops and I gasp, she looks down at me and smiles. The little "houses" are way too small for her as well. I recently added a $99 cat tree that someone posted on here. It was not very well made, the houses had stiff cardboard walls and the carpet was thin cloth glued to particle board. But the houses are larger and so are the platforms. Sometimes I find Grace has been sleeping on the big cloth covered platforms in the morning. The little cups are too small for her though. Even my smaller cat spills out of them.

I think the manufacturers believe large cats aren't interested in climbing up cat trees. Raiden is under 13 pounds and fits nicely on the 14"x14" platforms and in the condo. He prefers to lay in it with his head sticking out the front opening. He runs full speed and jumps up on it with very little shaking. I would have loved to have designed one myself, but getting the hubby to actually build it would have been fun! Cost a lot less to just buy one and be done with it. Actually, Raiden has three cat trees.

I'm absolutely aware that in some, maybe not so far, future I may have to look for something else but for now I think the tree will last quite a bit. It's actually more stable than it looks being so high and it's placed against the wall.
As is to be expected, the guys, with a combined weight of 15 lbs for now, usually wreak havoc on the top perch, jumping at or throwing one another from it (although right now they're sleeping there together) and the thing is doing fine. They can't jump sideways onto it as there's nothing so high next to the tree but they jump from the sofa or the table onto any of the lower trays or the top of the house.
In the future I will probably build something larger for them rather than buying, especially if I move to a bigger house with more outdoor space.
