We'd had a really good weekend until Hendrix decided to go on the cat tree. He knew what the outcome would be and I'm convinced did it on purpose! I've spent an hour and a half running after them, breaking them up and making sure it doesn't get out of hand and back to square one. I haven't had to do that for ages!

So a bit of a set back, but overall, until then, we'd had a completely hiss-free weekend and they were getting on really well. Hendrix bounces back better now and gets over things quicker, so I'm not too worried.

The room with the cat tree will remain out of bounds while I'm at work to avoid anything like that when I'm not here.

Counting down to pay day so I can sort Hendrix out with a tree. Definitely the only bone of contention now so needs addressing. Jagger is not going to share that tree under any circumstances. He's spent the majority of the weekend on it!

Well, this situation would appear to have sorted itself out lol

Hendrix has come home just that little bit better able to stand up to Jagger. He had been bit of a lap cat since he came home which I was really enjoying, but I noticed he was starting to look at the cat tree with jagger snoozing away in it. Yesterday, whilst jagger was elsewhere he helped himself. When jagger noticed, he jumped up on the tree, sniffed at Hendrix in the top bed and slapped him with his paw. Hendrix didn't even blink an eye and totally ignored him.

Hopefully, they will soon be able to sleep on it together. Last night jagger went and slept in hendrix's snuggle bed instead.

But there was no actual aggro over Hendrix using the tree and previously jagger would chase him off it.

They actually are more bonded than ever, I really didn't think things would go so well with Hendrix not being here for two and a half weeks. But Hendrix took matters into his own hands (sorry, paws) and within a couple of days being home was lying in wait for jagger, pouncing on him and they would then chase each other all over the house and having a fine old time!

Clare, I think Hendrix got some street smarts when we was out there those couple of weeks on his own. He had to defend and protect himself and survive. I think it made a huge difference. Regardless, it's great that Jagger is behaving better as well. But Hendrix standing up for himself is wonderful! I hope things continue to settle down for you.

Hendrix probably gained a bit of confidence while out on his adventure. I'm glad it seems to be helping even things out around the house. Everything is so much nicer when they all get along.

Thanks Sherry. I'm getting there, the chest infection is much better and I've just restarted my medication for arthritis but I'm still struggling a bit on that front! I'm sure in a week or so I'll be back to running around again though!

Both of my lovely boys are in their cat tree again, I still have to pinch myself that things are going so well and that Hendrix is home again!
