Andy, we are so pleased you returned to give us an update! Glad Ben has settled in! I don't always catch my bengal drinking water either. He gets canned food mostly which has a lot of moisture in it. I think it's wonderful our advice worked for you. As has been mentioned, it appears you are feeding Ben the proper amount of food daily. As long as he is eating, playing, peeing and pooping normal -- everything is fine! Enjoy him.

Just a quick note to let you all know that Ben has turned into a fantastic loving cat. He still likes his own space and still grumbles if we pick him up but he is simply awesome. He plays well and has started to talk now, he lets us stroke him and my wife can even pick him up and cuddle him.

Ben has come so far in such a short time, he is the centre of the house and we love him to bits.

Excellent news and update... so is it too soon for us to now call him "Gentle Ben"?

So - we have the opportunity to rescue another male Bengal - 8 months old and bring him home to meet Ben - should we do it? Ben has really blossomed, he is awesome and we love him dearly, to be able to help another lost soul is just brilliant but i will need advice on how to introduce them from you all.

i will keep you posted.

Andy, only YOU can decide if your home and life are ready for another cat. Ben can decide whether to accept another kitty into the household. Proper introduction should make things go easier. I love people who rescue kitty cats. Just know, we are here for you if you run into any problems!
