Thank you to everyone for all the wonderful compliments and advice so far! I live in a ranch style house, so no stairs or basement, which will leave me with some peace of mind. And Ivan is coming home January 16th, as the breeder thought it best since hell be 12 weeks around the 1st, and it's busy around all the holidays. That way he doesn't get "lost in the mix". I couldn't agree more. I'm taking the first week of him being home off of work, so I'll be able to find things I may have over looked as far as kitten proofing is concerned. But in the law of life, there will be things he's going to find while I'm not home, so I'm spending this next month taking sherrys advice and looking on my hands and knees for things that he can get into. He will come here microchipped. His breeder does that when she sends him in for neutering. 41 days seems so far!!! I didn't realize that his coloring was so rare. I had first pick of his litter, he had a melanistic sister too, but I absolutely fell in love with him.
