Hi,

I am just wondering if you can feed your cat raw food occasionally as a treat? or will this cause problems.

Thanks

Yes, of course. In fact one petfood store that I sometimes go to (they are quite a drive so I don't go there that often) has things like frozen chicken necks and feet which are meant as snacks. Just keep in mind that the more frequently you feed your cat something, the higher the burden is to make sure that you are feeding a complete, nutritious meal.

Occasionally as a treat is fine! It's just that cats start preferring "treats" to their regular food, so be careful.

Thanks guys, I'll keep that in mind. Just like his walks, now he wants to go out everytime we leave. Meowing as we close the door.

It does seem bengals want to be outside walking ALL the time. Thankfully, mine will take a nap after we come back. Once he's up, he thinks it's time for the afternoon walk and starts crying and crying. He will eventually give up and head back to bed, although he won't fall asleep! When it's time, I'll get him and we head back outside. He would take six to eight walks a day if I had the time and allowed him to do it! He loves walking around the neighborhood, except he's on a leash and can't take all the shortcuts other cats take. As winter approaches, it will be harder on me than it will be on him. He has gotten some extra fur and I have to pack on layers of clothes and coats and gloves.
