Hi All

My husband really wants to go away on holiday and I've resisted because I'm really worried about leaving my boys in a Cattery. I would love it for a neighbour to come in and look after then but they are quite hard work as they are indoor cats and its a lot to expect of someone for a week/fortnight.

What does everyone else do? Are there specific catteries for Bengals?

there are a few bengal breeders who also have boarding catteries. barrie & rosie alger-street are in shepperton which is very near windsor, they are lovely people who were also some of the first to import the breed to the country.

i would feel happier if it were someone who was used to bengals, but i'd still visit first to make sure i was happy with the cattery

Hi All

Thank you all for your help and advice. I have emailed Barrie & Rosie given they are used to Bengals AND they live very near us (double bonus!). Hubby will be very happy if I now agree to leave them and we can go on holiday. Might even be a marriage saver! lol

This is quite a good one, i've used it before - you can get a double pen for both of them for the same price and even get things like a tv! depends how far you'd want to travel though. They also look after dogs, parrots and small animals like budgies
