He's beautiful. Can't imagine he would stick around for very long! Sounds perfect doesn't he. Wonder why they state indoor only. I'm from UK so that's unusual. Wonder what his story is.

I got Grace and Blondie from that rescue center. Inside only is a US mindset and city ordinance. Any siamese or highly desired breed always has the stipulation that it will be indoors only and declaw not allowed. They make you sign a document stating that you will follow the guidelines. Essentially you can do what you want, but it does make you aware. Cats and dogs are not allowed to roam freely here. My community rules state that, but one family (European) let their 3 cats roam the neighborhood and no one has ever stopped them. One of them got hit by a car last year but luckily she survived. She trots behind her owners when they take their dog for a walk. We call her the walking cat. She is very friendly and intelligent, but one of their other cats bit me on my leg during a walk and drew blood. It took a while to heal. I think that was the last time I took a walk in the neighborhood.

Oh Jill .... he's so handsome (and good with other cats). I don't know .... Gracie and Blondie are great sisters. Adding another one to the mix ... are you sure you're ready for that? I didn't realize that rescue existed. I'm very familiar with Royal Palm Beach as we lived in West Palm Beach for many, many years. I know it's hard to resist such a cute little face. Looks like they have a lot of kitties and doggies for adoption. I know you're thinking long and hard before you make that trip over there.

Our HOA rules are that cats and dogs must be confined on which the owner resides. But, that doesn't happen with the cats. And they won't do a thing to enforce it either! Don't know why you have a rule if you can't enforce it. Thankfully, I don't get many cats in my yard except the b/w cat that I am not feeding as he refuses to stay at home with his mom and dad and 9 siblings.

Jill, you're torturing me ..... are you feeling the same? I just find it hard looking at kitties who need homes! I have enough love and room for a bunch of kitties.

What if I didn't have a husband! That way I could have more kitties! He's the one who says "one is plenty." And now I have Long Legs that I'm feeding and trying to take care of. Built him two shelters and we had solid rain for four straight days and he would not use them. Every time he came by for food, he was soaking wet. Now I'm looking for something permanent and elevated and see if that does the trick. Winter is coming and temps get down to the single digits, not to mention snow! I can't have him sleeping on a bed of leaves in the woods and I can't have him inside the house as Raiden wants to attack him and my husband would kill me.

Lord help me, I went to meet Rickey Bobby at the Pet Smart up in West Palm Beach today. It was a trek, but something was nudging me to meet him. Unfortunately he had runny eyes and they decided not to bring him last minute. He is going to the vet on Monday. I asked if he had runny poo and she indicated that might be the case and he was going on antibiotics. I will touch base with her next week and see how he is doing. Now that Blondie and Grace are healthy, I wouldn't want them catching anything. I am considering fostering him to see if he fits into our happy home or not. Still on the fence.

Jill, just the fact that you drove all that way means you are quite interested in him. I hate to hear that he is sick! We adopted a cat in 1986 that came home with an upper respiratory infection that we had to deal with! Ugh! You know if Gracie and Blondie accept him, you have a third cat!!! I hate going into any of the pet stores because Mario insists on looking at their cats. I don't know why ... he doesn't care for cats, but he has to look and pet and talk to them. I swear he is lying to me when he says, "I don't like cats." Maybe he does it because he knows we won't take one home. Raiden is just too territorial. He doesn't like any other cat.

My husband took apart our large cat house that was in the enclosure (it would not fit through the door) so that Long Legs could have shelter and it would cost us nothing. Put it out on the deck and I fed him up in the porch on Friday morning. He investigated the upper room and jumped down. Yesterday, it was raining and he came to eat and jumped up in the porch and went into the upper room and washed himself. He stayed in the porch until it stopped raining. He did not use the house overnight, but was waiting in the porch when I got up this morning. The heated bed is working and there's so much more room for him. I'm just happy to see that he finally likes something and I won't worry about him in sub-freezing temps or when it's snowing out.
