Bengals seem to love to lay on their backs, exposing their bellies. Raiden insists that we rub his belly every single time -- and it's several times during the day. I've never had a cat that liked the belly rubbed. Normally, I'd get clawed to death! I guess it's a trait that was bred into the bengal at some point. I doubt the ALC loved its belly rubbed!!!

Gosh, after seeing all these comments about observed Bengal behavior, I'm questioning whether Pixel is actually a Bengal

Beautiful kitty!

I am so happy to see he's enjoying his walks. It's the best way to enjoy the outdoors and keep him safe. Raiden's leash is 10 feet so he can't get into too much trouble on our walks.

I have a 5 meter retractable lead for him! But it is still too short, going to buy a 8 meter one soon!

The shorter the leash, the better, unless you're in the wide open spaces. We walk around our yard and behind our fence in the woods and the leash gets tangled up on everything, even at 10 feet! Raiden likes to walk behind the bushes and I can fit back there.

It's getting cold and the rug is out! Tigger loves it.

Cats tend to get chilly. Even Raiden started using his hooded, heated bed, although I have yet to plug it in. I usually wait until we have to keep the heat on in the house. Gosh, Tigger is gorgeous!

Grace and Blondie loved the cooler weather last winter. I am curious to see if they still love it after getting used to the sweltering heat of their first South Florida summer. It's still in the 80s day and night and so humid. I can't wait for the snow to start falling up north so we get down into the 70s!

LOL Jill! I recall a November and December we visited Lake Worth and the temps were absolutely gorgeous! When we lived there, it never got down into the 30's. We had snow one time that fell and barely covered our car and melted in like 5 minutes! I remember standing outside in my bathrobe marveling at the snow falling. I'd take the Florida winters over what we have in Nashville -- where we can go more than two weeks and never see the sun shining, which is so depressing.

I've lived here 26 years and we had snow flurries only once in 1990, and I was out of the country and missed it! It was 90 degrees today, ugh. Bring on some cool dry air!
