Litter tray

Has anyone have one of these? If so any good and is it big enough for a full grown Bengal? Thanks

IMO, enclosed litter boxes are not healthy for cats in general because they inhale the dust. I picked up a wonderful litter box on Amazon that we all love.

I have an enclosed litter box in Raiden's enclosure (because the rain can come in) and he never uses it. We have an open one in the house and he prefers that. I'm not familiar with that type of litter box. Read up on the reviews and see what cat owners are saying about it.

I have recently purchased this exact one and colour from 'Homesense' (about 4 weeks ago). Our cats do not like being 'enclosed' so we always remove the doors from ours. With the door flap removed it is fine as the two eldest always perch their front paws on the entrance whilst they use it so they half hang out if that makes sense - this has nothing to do with the size it is just their thing (very odd!) Our youngest is only 5 months and goes right in. So to answer your question it is big enough for our cats but our largest (who is a big 7kg cat) would struggle if he wanted to be completely enclosed. We have a corner one which is larger, I purchased it off the internet, from memory was around £18 (much cheaper than this one) Hope that helps,

This is very similar to the corner one we have (dimensions 56x45x38cm) it is larger

I looked at that box as it is nice to look at but decided it was too small in the end. I have to have enclosed boxes as Oscar finishes peeing in a standing position!!!

Melissa, Raiden does that occasionally as well, which is why I have two sides of the box blocked in. He will usually do it when he's forced to pee before we have the chance to get outside for his walk. Out there, he's a marking maniac.

Picked up that litter tray in the end! Tiggers loves it and use it stright away. Yes I think its a bit small but ok for now. Oh well too late.

Isn't it just amazing how many different options are out there for litter boxes. Something for everyone and every cat! They didn't have covered litter boxes when we got our first kitty 55 years ago! It was an open box, plain and simple. Now they have mechanical ones. Technology is great, but Raiden still uses the same open box I've had from 1977.
