Geez, I'm sorry none of the "traditional" methods were helpful. I'm wondering about this myself as we'll have to have Zelda spayed at some point after she comes home with us, and I'm worried about the possibility of her harming herself during recovery. Constant vigilance, I guess. :)

I'm sure the incision is itching beyond belief as the stitches dry out and the wound is healing! Poor baby! He doesn't know any better. Just think -- in a matter of weeks, everything will be healed and he can resume his zoomies.

It's things like this that make me love my little stinker so darned much. Our 13'ish year old orange moggie (Buddy) loves Diesel, and last night he went and laid in the crate. Diesel went right in and laid down with him.

Awww, bless! Hendrix was beaten up by the neighbourhood bully again yesterday, he always disappears under the bed without the usual announcement that he is home when something has happened... Jagger always goes under to check on him but gets abuse for his efforts, poor thing. Hendrix definitely doesn't appreciate Jagger's concern like Diesel does with Buddy!

I hate to hear about Hendrix, Clare! I know you let your kitties outside, but he could get seriously injured or even killed by this other cat. Nothing is worse than hearing two cats screaming and fighting each other. I hope he's okay.

Won't the fur grow back over the incision? Happy he's doing much, much better. It's funny about the crate!
